WAVY TV Sports Director Among Five Selected To CIAA Hall Of Fame
Nation's oldest black athletic organization holds induction ceremony on March 4
Wavy-TV sports director Bruce Rader is among five honorees selected for induction to the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Hall of Fame.
Bruce Rader Carries Olympic Torch
Bruce Rader carried the Olympic Torch in Northern Virginia near the Pentagon on the last week in December, 2001. Following the run, Bruce was invited by the President to a reception on the South Lawn of the White House.

Suzanne Pavlat (2001)
On Aug 12th those of us associated with Bruce Rader Charities suffered a great loss when neuroblastoma, an incurable cancer of the nerves, finally claimed the life of 11-year-old Suzanne Pavlat of Virginia Beach. Suzanne, a graduate of Thoroughgood Elementary was also an active member of Girl Scout Troop No. 166 and was a member of Little Creek Amphibious Base Protestant Chapel.
